I am delighted to provide further details of the first annual event for parents. We have engaged international speaker and author, Margaret Goldthorpe, to come and talk to parents on the topic of demystifying children’s behaviour.

Her talk is entitled 20 THINGS I WISH I’D KNOWN 20 YEARS AGO.

Thursday, 11th October 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Westbury House School.
Margaret is an expert on behaviour management and creating positive but disciplined environments both in school and in the home. Parents often express concern that as their children change and grow they are not sure how best to manage behaviour. Therefore, the evening of Thursday, 11th October will be a perfect opportunity to learn strategies and ask questions of an expert, whilst enjoying a glass of something cold and some light refreshments. I would highly recommend that you attend the evening, and I would be grateful if you could respond to this via ClassDojo, email or using the google form that was emailed to parents on 11th September. This is an event just for adults. In case this causes child-care problems, and to enable you to attend this event, Westbury are providing child-care facilities for children aged 3 and above. When you respond to this invitation, please let us know if you will need any places for your child/children so that we can ensure we have enough staff present.
If you’ve ever wondered why your children behave the way they do or ever been confused about their emotional responses, please come along. Margaret is an excellent communicator and trainer.
