As part of the speaking and listening element of our literacy curriculum, Year 5 and 6 take part in weekly class debates! Each child gets a chance to be the chair, the proposer or the opposition. This week’s motion was ‘should children be allowed to choose their own bedtime’. The motion was not passed!
