This week, we heard the story of Jack and the Beanstalk as part of our Traditional Tales topic. We chose our favourite parts of the story and painted the scenes in watercolour. Some of us decided to make paintings that attach together to make a very tall beanstalk.

We have learned a lot in maths this week. We looked at 2D shapes, and counted the numbers of sides and corners. We also enjoyed picking shapes from a feeling bag and guessing what they were just by touch. We have worked on taking away and adding up, using number lines and blocks to help us.

For PSED, we had a class discussion about the things we can to do to be kind to each other, and also to get stickers on our charts! Mrs Williams is going to make a book of our ideas which we wrote about and drew.

A group of us made a train track that stretched the whole length of the classroom. The train we put on it had 26 pieces!
