The Living Rainforest

Year Five went to The Living Rainforest in Berkshire recently. It took much more than thirty minutes to get there but it was worth it. After we got there, we went straight into the forest, full of eccentric and amazing animals and plants. There were plants with “drip tips and gutter veins”, not to mention the carnivorous plants. The animals were very hard to find at first. It took us a while to find Pascal, a chameleon.

Our tour guide was quite knowledgeable about the rainforest and we learnt many interesting facts. Next was lunch, followed by free time in the rainforest. We had such a great time! After buying souvenirs, it was time to go back to school.
