Sports

In PE lessons, we support the Study School’s ethos by providing a physical activity programme which allows each individual student to develop their talents to the best of their ability.

At The Study School we use Kings College sports grounds and the New Malden Centre to enrich our sporting programme. PE is taught by a team of specialist teachers, the different sports on offer include: football, netball, hockey, cross-country, tag rugby, cricket, rounders, athletics, gymnastics and swimming.

By providing a wide range of sporting opportunities through the curriculum, clubs and teams we hope that each student will develop a sporting interest that will encourage them to adopt a fit and healthy lifestyle and a positive attitude towards physical activity. We believe that the physical and mental disciplines of working together in a team are very important. Sport teaches the art of winning and losing with equally good grace, self-reliance and leadership. These skills are essential and critical skills for life.

We regularly compete against other local schools and are proud of the successes of our different sports teams. We celebrate team and individual achievements in the ISA regional and national competitions each year.
